Mo Monday 4/30/18: Positive Thoughts!
There are tons of emotions a player can feel throughout a round of golf. Have you ever tried to keep the bad thoughts or feelings out of your head during your round? You should. So many times players will let those negative moments creep into their thought process: “Don’t hit it in the water, don’t slice it, don’t hit it in the bunker or don’t top it” all of those will inevitably make you hit that shot more times than not. It’s almost like talking yourself into it.
Step up to those situations and tell yourself “I am going to make this shot” or instead of staring that bunker in the eyes, simply look past the bunker, find a spot you want to land your ball, act like it doesn’t even exist. Let’s turn those ill thoughts into something more positive. Like I’ve said before, let’s not make this game harder than it already is!
